Nike Supply Chain experts ensure that every year 900 million pieces of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right destination on time. That's no easy task. **Description**

As our Director of Manufacturing Operations, you will provide strategic direction and leadership for factory governance teams focused on our apparel America's business. You will work in conjunction with Global Sourcing /Planning, category business teams, and assigned supplier base to build and implement a holistic manufacturing strategy to support the America's business. You will lead strategic manufacturing management processes driving new capabilities and supply chain model development while leveraging the supplier base to maximize performance on key delivery and profitability metrics. You will travel to and build collaborative partnerships with the supplier base and insure NIKE policies are in place and suppliers compliant on key manufacturing initiatives. You will work with our factory partners to create transparent relationships that drive trust and communication for both teams.


KEY DUTIES:

Build and lead the implementation of the Apparel/Equipment Manufacturing strategy for the America's region for Inline, Promo, Team and Licensed businesses

Lead cross -functional integration and implementation of this strategy across NIKE and the factory base- lead efforts to align product classification strategies with a rationalized and optimized supplier network.

Communicate Strategy across senior levels of NIKE and Factory management

Direct and manage factory investment and divestment initiatives

Lead organization and ensure resources are in place to execute and deliver on the strategy- build the team to execute the strategy

Build strong factory /vendor relationships - Direct all factory governance activities across assigned factory base

Ensure factory base is compliant on all key NIKE initiatives and performing at required levels on key manufacturing metrics

Be a strong voice and participant on the America's Liaison Office leadership team.

Manage and coach inline-promo-team-licensed production operations team

Create cross collaborative relationships in GSM with functional partners and the Geo leaders across Nike


**Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field

Global Perspective with experience in Strategic Planning, Sourcing, Production and Supplier Management.

Strong Strategic Planning skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with strong influencing talent.

Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.

Ability to influence, network, and utilize internal and external resources.

Ability to clearly articulate goal and objectives.

Strong information seeking skills and a drive to make things happen.
